Terry Adams

Vice President, Finance

As Vice President, Finance, Terry Adams provides daily oversight of all aspects of CapAcuity’s finances. His responsibilities will include budgeting and forecasting; balance sheets and income statements; billing and accounts payable and receivable; cash management; tax planning; auditing; regulatory financial reporting and more.

Terry brings over 20 years of relevant leadership experience in financial services. Most recently, he was company Controller for Newport Group, where his duties included establishing, monitoring, and enforcing financial policies and procedures across the firm.

Prior to Newport, he was vice president of financial services for Universal American Insurance Company, where as an officer he had full responsibility for managing the company’s finances, including all statutory and GAAP reporting. Previously Terry was a senior financial analyst with Genworth Financial; he also has an extensive background in financial reporting and auditing for major insurance companies including Lincoln Financial Group.

Terry earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University. He holds a series 99 registration.
