Fees and Compensation

As a broker-dealer, CapAcuity may receive commissions, asset-based trail commissions, service fees and in some cases marketing fees, including conference sponsorships. Information about CapAcuity Securities and its representatives can be found on FINRA’s BrokerCheck.

For information on the compensation CapAcuity receives as a registered investment adviser, as well as the firm’s investment advisory services and how it manages potential conflicts of interest, please see the firm’s Form ADV, Part 1 and Part 2A and 2B, which can be found here: https://www.adviserinfo.sec.gov/Firm/297679.

As a consultant, CapAcuity receives fees for consulting services provided for services not deemed securities and investment advisory activities.

Clients should be aware that certain broker-dealer and insurance activities pay commissions or other compensation. This practice may create a conflict of interest providing an incentive to recommend investment products based on compensation received. When CapAcuity receives fees on assets under management subject to a specific investment advisory agreement, CapAcuity mitigates any conflicts by directly offsetting advisory fees equal to the amount of commission and asset-based fees received based on an investment product recommended to a Client in an individual’s registered representative (or insurance agent) capacity with the Broker-Dealer.
