As CapAcuity’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Michelle Lugo manages the company’s brand and communications strategy, ensuring that CapAcuity presents itself consistently to clients, partners, advisors, employees and the broader marketplace. Her work spans brand stewardship, executive communications, public relations, digital strategy, internal communications, event management and business development support—all with a focus on enhancing CapAcuity’s visibility and market position.
Michelle has broad experience in corporate communications, marketing, media relations and content strategy. Before joining CapAcuity, she served as manager, corporate communications at Spectrum, where she developed internal communications, executive messaging, regional intranet content, media strategies and community engagement initiatives. She previously held communications and marketing roles with Newport Group, PMA Institute and iHeart Media. Michelle is fluent in Spanish and English, and she also serves as 2026 co-vice president of programming for the Orlando chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Central Florida and her master’s degree in communications management from Webster University.
