Client Service Support Specialist
Career Description
We are seeking a Client Service Support Specialist to support our growing client services team. This individual will be instrumental in supporting our client services functions, including analyzing and input of client data, and managing our client reporting processes. The successful candidate will be highly organized, process-oriented, and possess a strong penchant for detail and accuracy. Must be comfortable learning and mastering various business applications, including CapAcuity’s proprietary asset management and client reporting systems. Must enjoy collaborating as part of a team as well as working independently in managing tasks and driving projects forward. Responsibilities:
- Master the navigation of proprietary client reporting and asset management systems to collect, verify, analyze data
- Pull, prepare, and disseminate periodic client reports/reporting packages for client service team
- Perform data accuracy verification checks in accordance with established standards, processes, and protocols
- Audit, identify, summarize, and escalate data discrepancies as appropriate for resolution
- Manage and support data cleansing/reconciliation processes
- Gather and organize relevant data and documents from various third-party sources such as trust partners, insurance carriers, and recordkeepers
- Assist with the testing of system enhancements
- Manage the storing and filing of final reports and other client-centric documents in accordance with our enterprise file system processes and protocols
- Collaborate with various cross-organizational teams in identifying ways to refine and streamline existing processes
- Establish and implement new processes designed to enhance productivity and optimize our end-to-end client service function
- Perform and manage other client service-related tasks and projects, as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field of study, or combination of education and related work experience.
- Experience in a client services environment, finance and/or retirement industry
- Proficient in data entry, data analysis and scrubbing, and/or organization and storage of data
- Experience with CRM applications and other data entry/reporting systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Highly professional with use of optimal discretion in managing sensitive information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications, with emphasis on data management software and tools such as Excel or SQL
- Working knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and/or other meeting applications
- Familiarity with SharePoint or other document or file-sharing applications a plus
Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000
Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week
Location: Albany, NY (on-site position)
