Earl Schwabe works with CapAcuity clients and intermediary partners, providing end-to-end case development support for nonqualified plans. As a senior consultant, he provides analysis and recommendations on key issues such as overall plan design and the management of on-balance sheet benefit liabilities—including the funding and hedging strategies for those liabilities, with the objective of improving overall financial performance and earnings impact.
Most recently, Earl was a senior consultant with Newport Group, where he consulted on plan design and funding strategies for nonqualified deferred compensation plans. Prior to Newport, he worked in the executive compensation and benefits area for The Cochlan Group as vice president and senior consultant; for The Giles Organization as a senior associate; and for Management Compensation Group—Chicago as a financial analyst.
Earl earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration majoring in accounting from Central Michigan University. He is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and holds Series 6 and 63 registrations.
