Financial Analyst
Career Description
We are actively seeking a Financial Analyst to join our talented team in our Lake Mary, FL office. Reporting to the V.P. of Finance, the Financial Analyst plays a key role in financial planning and budgeting, including tracking of revenue and reporting on variances compared to budget and rolling forecast projections. This position also plays a key role in booking journal entries and performing reconciliations related to the monthly general ledger close process.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for revenue tracking and reporting for all legal entities
• Complete the buildout and maintenance of the commission system, including reconciliations to the ledger
• Create multi-year forecast reporting and variance analysis on actual, budget and forecast
• Perform requirements analysis, documenting processes and performance
• Assist with the formation of policies and procedures to help in the recording of financial data in a timely and accurate manner
• Backup for accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform ad hoc analysis for Senior Management and Operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor or equivalent degree in Finance or Accounting
• At least 1+ years of experience in an accounting related field with general accounting skills
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
• Strong Excel skills (advanced functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
• Data analysis and forecasting
• Budget variance analysis and financial modeling
Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000
Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week
Location: Lake Mary, FL. This position is not a remote/hybrid position.
